<p><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p> <p>The campus environment plays an essential role in shaping students’ character and behavior, especially in tourism studies where social interaction is crucial. This study aims to analyze the impact of the campus environment on the social attitudes of tourism students. The research explores how facilities, peer relationships, academic atmosphere, and extracurricular activities contribute to students’ social awareness, cooperation, and communication skills. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to tourism students from several major. By using a score-based quantitative approach, this study provides an overview of students’ social attitudes as influenced by their campus environment. These findings emphasize that higher education institutions function not only as academic spaces but also as social environments that contribute to the development of students’ character and social behavior. The implications of this study are expected to serve as a reference for higher education institutions in creating a more supportive, inclusive, and conducive campus environment that fosters positive social attitudes, particularly among tourism students. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the development of a supportive campus environment in fostering students’ social attitudes particularly among tourism students. The results may serve as an evaluative reference for higher education institutions in designing academic policies, learning programs, and also facilities development.</p> <p><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p> <p>Lingkungan kampus memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan perilaku mahasiswa, khususnya dalam bidang studi pariwisata yang sangat menekankan interaksi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak lingkungan kampus terhadap sikap sosial mahasiswa pariwisata. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana fasilitas kampus, hubungan antar teman sebaya, suasana akademik, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berkontribusi terhadap kesadaran sosial, kerja sama, dan keterampilan komunikasi mahasiswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada mahasiswa pariwisata dari beberapa tingkatan dan prodi. Melalui pengolahan data berbasis skor, penelitian ini memberikan gambaran kuantitatif mengenai kecenderungan sikap sosial mahasiswa yang dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan kampus tempat mereka menempuh pendidikan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kampus tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ruang akademik, tetapi juga sebagai lingkungan sosial yang berkontribusi dalam pengembangan karakter mahasiswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi institusi pendidikan tinggi dalam menciptakan lingkungan kampus yang lebih kondusif, inklusif, dan mendukung pembentukan sikap sosial positif mahasiswa, khususnya pada program studi pariwisata. Hasil penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan lingkungan kampus yang kondusif dalam membentuk sikap sosial mahasiswa, khususnya mahasiswa di bidang pariwisata. <p><strong><em>ABSTRACT. </em></strong>Cultural tourism is a strategic sector that not only contributes to economic development but also plays a vital role in preserving local cultural identity. Kampung Adat Cireundeu in Cimahi City, West Java, is a unique region for maintaining Sundanese ancestral traditions and possessing strong local wisdom, particularly concerning self-sufficient lifestyles and cultural preservation. One of the main attractions of Kampung Adat Cireundeu is its uniqueness in local non-rice food consumption, namely cassava, which serves as the staple food. This practice represents a profound local wisdom in sustainable environmental management. This uniqueness is embodied in the Nasi Rasi (cassava-rice) tradition, which has been passed down through generations and symbolizes the community's food sovereignty (or food self-sufficiency). Furthermore, visitors can enjoy the serene and peaceful atmosphere, away from the city's hustle and bustle. The houses in this village still retain traditional Sundanese architecture, utilizing natural materials such as wood and bamboo. From a cultural perspective, Kampung Adat Cireundeu regularly hosts various traditional ceremonies and cultural activities, such as Seren Taun (harvest thanksgiving). They also feature traditional arts performances like Angklung and Calung. Additionally, the Karinding musical instrument, made of bamboo slats, is played by placing it on the lips and flicking the tip with a finger, producing a humming and vibrating sound. Its traditional purpose is to ward off field pests, but Karinding also functions as an entertainment instrument and a ritual tool.</p> <p><em> </em><strong>ABSTRAK. </strong>Pariwisata budaya merupakan sektor strategis yang tidak hanya berkontribusi terhadap pembangunan ekonomi, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam pelestarian identitas budaya lokal. Kampung Adat Cireundeu di Kota Cimahi, Jawa Barat, merupakan wilayah yang istimewa karena mempertahankan tradisi leluhur sunda dan memiliki kearifan lokal yang kuat, terutama dalam hal pola hidup mandiri dan pelestarian budaya. Salah satu daya tarik utama Kampung Adat Cireundeu adalah keunikan dalam konsumsi pangan lokal non beras, yaitu singkong, sebagai makanan pokok utama, serta menjadi kearifan lokal dalam pemgelolaan lingkungan yang lestari. Keunikan tradisi Nasi Rasi (beras singkong). Tradisi ini sudah berlangsung turun temurun dan menjadi simbol kemandirian pangan masyarakat Cireundeu. Selain itu, pengunjung juga dapat meningkatkan suasana asri dan tenang, jauh dari hiruk pikuk kota. Rumah-rumah di kampung ini masih mempertahankan arsitektur tradisi sunda, menggunakan bahan bahan alami seperti kayu dan bambu. Dari sisi budaya, Kampung Adat Cireundeu juga sering mengadakan berbagai upacara adat dan kegiatan budaya seren taun (syukuran hasil panen), pertunjukan seni tradisional seperti Angklung dan calung adapun alat musik karinding yang terbuat dari bilah bambu yang dimainkan dengan cara ditempelkan di bibir dan disentil bagian ujungnya dengan jari menghasilkan suara yang berdengung dan bergetar, Tujuannya untuk mengusir hama di ladang. <p><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p> <p><em>Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota has strong potential for integrated agricultural development through the integration of livestock and crop farming; however, the utilization of livestock waste remains suboptimal. This community service program aimed to transfer knowledge and technology on processing livestock waste into organic fertilizer to partners at Lemboo Farm in Nagari Balai Panjang through the sapaduoan partnership system. The methods applied included Focus Group Discussions (FGD), socialization, training sessions, and field-based practice. Partners were provided with skills to produce solid compost, liquid organic fertilizer, and locally sourced bio-stimulants. The results indicate an improvement in partners’ understanding and capacity to independently produce organic fertilizers, reduce production costs, improve agricultural land quality, and increase farmers’ income. The processing of livestock waste contributes to agribusiness efficiency and environmental sustainability at the local level.</em></p> <p><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p> <p>Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota memiliki potensi pengembangan pertanian terpadu melalui integrasi peternakan dan pertanian, namun pemanfaatan limbah ternak masih belum optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mentransfer pengetahuan dan teknologi pengolahan limbah ternak menjadi pupuk organik pada mitra Lemboo Farm di Nagari Balai Panjang melalui sistem kemitraan sapaduoan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi Focus Group Discussion (FGD), sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan praktik lapangan. Mitra dibekali keterampilan pembuatan pupuk kompos padat, pupuk organik cair, serta bio-stimulan berbahan lokal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan mitra dalam memproduksi pupuk organik secara mandiri, menekan biaya produksi, memperbaiki kualitas lahan pertanian, serta meningkatkan pendapatan petani. <p><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p> <p><em>The problem that is often found in plant cultivation is pest attacks that can reduce yields, so farmers rely on excessive chemical pesticides and have a negative impact on the environment and health. Therefore, alternative pests are needed that are environmentally friendly, such as vegetable pesticides. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of vocational students who are undergoing an internship program through training in making vegetable pesticides made from gamal leaves (gliricidia sepium). This activity was carried out on September 20, 2024 at the Community Training and Development Center (BPPM) of PT. Arara Abadi, with participants as many as 20 vocational students from the Department of Agriculture and Forestry as well as 2 field supervisors. The training method includes the delivery of theoretical materials regarding Gamal Leaves of Vegetable Pesticides, Gamal Plants Introduction, and Direct Practice of the Process of Making Natural Pesticide Solution Starting from the preparation stage of materials, extraction, to application. The results of this activity indicate an increase in students' understanding of the concept of environmentally friendly pesticides, as well as good practical skills in processing gamal leaves into ready -to -use pesticide solutions. This activity makes a positive contribution in equipping vocational students with appropriate technology skills in the field of integrated pest control with environmental insight. It is hoped that this training can become an applicative and sustainable contextual learning model in the Vocational Student Internship Program in the Forestry and Agriculture Sector.</em></p> <p><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p> <p>Permasalahan yang sering dijumpai dalam budidaya tanaman adalah serangan hama yang dapat menurunkan hasil panen, sehingga petani mengandalkan pestisida kimia yang berlebihan dan berdampak negatif pada lingkungan dan kesehatan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan alternatif pengendalian hama yang ramah lingkungan, seperti pestisida nabati. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa SMK yang sedang menjalani program magang melalui pelatihan pembuatan pestisida nabati berbahan dasar daun gamal (<em>Gliricidia sepium</em>). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 September 2024 di Balai Pelatihan dan Pengembangan Masyarakat (BPPM) PT. Arara Abadi, dengan peserta sebanyak 20 siswa SMK dari jurusan pertanian dan kehutanan serta 2 pembimbing lapangan. Metode pelatihan meliputi penyampaian materi teori mengenai pestisida nabati daun gamal, pengenalan tanaman gamal, serta praktik langsung proses pembuatan larutan pestisida alami mulai dari tahap persiapan bahan, ekstraksi, hingga pengaplikasian. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep pestisida ramah lingkungan, serta kemampuan praktik yang baik dalam mengolah daun gamal menjadi larutan pestisida siap pakai. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam membekali siswa SMK dengan keterampilan teknologi tepat guna di bidang pengendalian hama terpadu yang berwawasan lingkungan.
